The ACT Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Authority (TFA) is the statutory body responsible for providing funding for the training of eligible workers in the ACT Building and Construction Industry.

The TFA includes industry representatives (employers and employees) and an independent chairman. Its primary goal is to fund training for entry level and existing workers (including unemployed people who usually work in the industry and injured workers seeking to return to the industry). Allocation of funds is assessed against priorities determined by the TFA and identified in the TFA's Training Plan.

Financial incentives are also provided to employers and group training organisations to assist them in employing apprentices and trainees in areas of special skills shortages.
