Australian Apprenticeships
Australian Apprenticeships combine practical work with structured learning to give you a nationally recognised qualification—and the experience you need to get the career you want.
Flexible
Available in the building and construction, electrical and horticultural sectors, Australian Apprenticeships are 'competency based', which means that you can complete your training faster if you reach the required skill level.
Earn While You Learn
One of the many advantages of Australian Apprenticeshps is that you can earn a wage while you train. You may even be able to start an Australian Apprenticeship in building and construction while still at school. (Ask your careers adviser or teachers, who can also help you to choose the most suitable subjects).
Employer Incentives
The Training Fund Autority provides a range of financial incentives to employers of Australian Apprentices in the ACT. We are happy to provide further information on these incentives.
