Australian Apprenticeships

Australian Apprenticeships are a stepping stone to ongoing employment, further education and training, and a great way to get a start in the career you want.

Employers

The Training Fund Authority (TFA) is providing training incentives to eligible employers who commence a first year Australian Apprentices in 2008 under an ACT Contract of Training in the in the following nominated trades.

Certificate III in Plastering (Solid)
Certificate III in Plastering (Wall and Ceiling Lining)
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling

Certificate III Programs - $4,000

  $2,000 three months after the commencement date of the apprenticeship
  $2,000 on completion of the first 12 months of the apprenticeship

In addition, the Federal Government provides a range of financial incentives to employers through Australian Apprenticeships. For further information on Federal Government incentives, contact your Australian Apprenticeship Centre.

Note: Where the employer is an ACT Group Training Organisation (GTO), the Training Fund Authority incentives are equally divided between the GTO and the host employer.
